Whether you’re in aerospace, manufacturing, oil and gas, nuclear, or any other sector, we offer tailored audit solutions to help you achieve operational excellence and mitigate risks.
Key Aspects of Our Industry Audits:
Compliance Verification: We conduct thorough assessments to ensure that your operations comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, including ISO, ASME, API, and other sector-specific requirements. Our audits help you identify any gaps in compliance and take corrective actions before they become issues.
Process Evaluation: We review your operational processes, workflows, and quality control measures to ensure they are efficient, cost-effective, and up to standard. Our goal is to help you streamline operations, improve productivity, and reduce waste, all while maintaining safety and quality.
Risk Management: Our audits focus on identifying potential risks in your operations, whether they be safety hazards, environmental concerns, or process inefficiencies. We provide actionable recommendations to help you mitigate these risks and avoid costly disruptions or downtime.
Documentation and Record Review: We examine your records, procedures, and certifications to ensure that all documentation is accurate, up to date, and in line with industry requirements. This helps maintain transparency, accountability, and regulatory adherence.
Continuous Improvement: Our audits don’t just highlight areas of non-compliance—they provide practical suggestions for ongoing improvements. We work with your team to implement best practices, optimize processes, and enhance overall performance.
Inspections
Industry Inspection Methods
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Method: Ultrasonic testing uses high-frequency sound waves to detect internal flaws or measure the thickness of materials. A probe emits sound waves that travel through the material, and any irregularities (such as cracks or voids) will reflect the sound waves back to the sensor, allowing inspectors to pinpoint potential issues.
Radiographic Testing (RT)
Method: Radiographic testing uses X-rays or gamma rays to create images of the internal structure of materials. The rays pass through the material, and a film or detector on the other side captures the image. This method helps reveal hidden defects such as cracks, voids, or porosity.
Eddy Current Testing (ET)
Method: Eddy current testing uses electromagnetic induction to detect surface and near-surface defects. A probe induces an alternating current into the material, and the resulting magnetic field changes in the presence of cracks or corrosion, which is then measured by the sensor.
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
Method: Magnetic particle testing is used to detect surface and near-surface defects in ferromagnetic materials. A magnetic field is applied to the material, and magnetic particles are scattered over the surface. Any flaws disrupt the magnetic field and cause particles to gather, indicating the location of the defect.
Penetrant Testing (PT)
Method: Dye penetrant testing involves applying a liquid dye to the surface of a material. The dye penetrates any surface cracks, and after a developing agent is applied, the cracks become visible, allowing for easy detection.
Visual Inspection (VI)
Method: Visual inspection is the most basic form of NDT, involving direct or remote observation of components and structures. Inspectors use tools like borescopes, magnifying glasses, and high-definition cameras to visually assess the condition of materials and detect any surface defects.
Acoustic Emission Testing (AE)
Method: Acoustic emission testing detects high-frequency stress waves generated by material deformation. Sensors pick up the sound waves emitted when a defect (such as a crack or leak) forms, allowing for real-time monitoring of the structure’s integrity.
Procedures
Why Choose Industrial iNDT Solutions ?
iNDT Solutions understands that the foundation of effective non-destructive testing (NDT) lies in well-defined procedures and properly trained professionals. Our comprehensive approach to NDT includes structured procedures, industry-compliant standards, and expert training to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance across a wide range of industries.
NDT Procedures
Our NDT procedures are built on industry best practices and adhere to international standards such as ASNT (American Society for Nondestructive Testing), ISO, and industry-specific codes. These procedures provide a clear, systematic approach to inspections, ensuring that tests are performed consistently, accurately, and in full compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. Key elements of our NDT procedures include:
Test Setup and Preparation: Detailed instructions on how to prepare materials, equipment, and test surfaces to ensure accurate results. This includes equipment calibration, environmental considerations, and safety protocols.
Inspection Methods: Clear steps for each NDT method (e.g., ultrasonic, radiographic, eddy current, magnetic particle, etc.), outlining the procedures for detecting flaws, measuring material properties, and ensuring the integrity of components.
Data Analysis: Guidelines for interpreting test results and identifying potential defects, ensuring that findings are reported accurately and in a timely manner for decision-making.
Reporting: Standardized reporting formats to document findings, including detailed descriptions of detected anomalies, analysis results, and recommendations for further action or repair.
Quality Assurance: Ongoing checks to ensure that every NDT procedure is performed in accordance with predefined standards, helping to maintain the highest level of accuracy and reliability in all testing.
